Community Service

Right from the inception, community service has been the core of our school program. Every year we organise Diwali fun-fair at Sangamner, where our students sell art and craft materials made by them at school to the visitors. The revenue we get out of this fun-fair is donated for the welfare of differently able children under various charitable trusts in and around Sangamner and Akole. Some of the institutions benefitted are Shree Eevdaya Mandal (Sangamner), Adivasi Ekta Muk Badhir Vidyalaya (Akole), etc. Revenue from the 2010-11 Diwali Mela was used to donate computers to Kathwan Mala School, Dhandarphal, and Zilla Parishad School, Dhandarphal.

As part of our community service program 350 students of Dhruv Academy cleaned the banks of Pravara River in Sangamner. Creating public awareness on many social, environmental and public issues has also been taken up by the students of Dhruv. On Anti-Terrorism Day our students organised a rally and presented street plays all along Sangamner town to create awareness amongst people.
